Once upon a time my camera went for a swim.

It was one of those silly things that happen when you think you’re being careful but you’re not. I hoped for the best, but the water draining from my lens told me otherwise. It turns out that camera’s can’t swim and its probably best not to let them try.

For some reason though, water is just so mesmerising behind the lens, like a light bulb to moth. It sustains life and is always changing. It finds colours, mixes them up and sprinkles them around. It turns things upside down.

Whatever it is, I can’t help waiting at the waters edge to see what happens next.
