Yarra Valley Seasons XII, February

Land and sky are tinted by smoke haze from the devastating 2019-2020 bushfire season.

This photograph was to be the last in a twelve month series, exploring the changes in light, colour and form on the landscape and I had arrived with expectations, usually a bad idea.

I was hoping for afternoon side light which I thought would finish off the series nicely, but I’ve since realised these conditions have more significance. (2020)
