Yarra Valley Seasons XIII, Loss
Three years after making the first photograph in this series, I returned to find a withered tree. It was heavily damaged by severe winds in June 2021, about six months prior.
This final image expresses my sense of loss and closes out the series for now. One day I’m sure the tree will be gone altogether.
