Tree Fallen

A year after photographing ‘Tree in Colour’, I returned to find the landscape had changed. Limbs were sprawled along the ground in pieces, an elegant tree now left abandoned in the paddock.

My heart broke just a little.

This photograph was only intended as a quick record at the time, but now I sense an elegance shining through. Despite its fallen state it seems to have more meaning now.
