Reflecting – Five

When I saw this scene emerging through a cold and dense fog, I was a little overwhelmed.  Not because my fingers were freezing off, but in admiration of its form and strength.

Now, a year later as I attempt to extract those feelings into a completed image, I notice little imperfections which start bother me.  How can I create a perfect image with something that is’t perfect?

Then I remind myself that I’m not perfect either, our world isn’t perfect but it can still be beautiful.
